- Before you start your weight loss plan, you should take a picture of yourself. You should also do this after your self-improvement project. This is to check how effective your plan was and to keep your motivation to stay slim and light.
Take a closer look at your overall lifestyle. There might be something that you are not doing right. For example, skipping meals will not make you lose weight. It will even make you gain weight because you will be so hungry after skipping one meal that you will eat a lot on the next meal.
- Try to change gradually. Do not force yourself or you will just end up hating or resenting your plan. You can eradicate one unhealthy lifestyle at a time. This way, you will not feel deprived of the things that you used to enjoy doing.
- Another very simple yet effective weight loss tip is to keep tabs of the foods that you eat everyday. Make a food journal. This way, you will know how much calories you have consumed for the day and how much more you need to reduce.
